The value of teams in World Cup 2010

After completion of the qualifiers for the biggest competition in club football, last week was made the draw of 32 teams and their division by eight groups of the first stage of the competition. Thus we developed a representative study of the value of each selection present at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa In total the full amount of the economic rights of players from 32 teams attending the event will exceed 5,000 million euros.

To accomplish this study, we evaluated the economic rights of the 25 players used by each national team during qualifying for the World Cup and the latest games preparation. The value of each of the players from each selection was determined by consulting several FIFA officials and agencies, and diverse business of scouting, both with experience in assessing economic rights to football players.

The figures presented in this study represent an estimate, since the value of a football player always depends on many variables. The value of each selection is the result of the sum of the 25 players used in qualifying teams and friendly matches, and will vary based on the appreciation or depreciation of each player.
